HIGHWIRE QUAD

Ethernet over Coaxial cable for four PoE IP cameras
HIGHWIRE QUAD integrates Veracity's HIGHWIRE Ethernet over coaxial cable technology with a four-port PoE switch. This means that up to four IP cameras can be installed in place of an old analog video camera. Legacy coax cabling can be used as a network connection, and an existing 12VDC or 24VAC supply can be converted into universal Power over Ethernet (PoE) for the new IP cameras.
HIGHWIRE QUAD automatically detects and enables power to IP cameras using the universal IEEE 802.3af standard. Up to 30 watts of power is available, supporting up to 4 power class 1 or 2 devices such as fixed IP megapixel cameras, or 2 class 3 or 0 devices such as dome cameras.
Simply connect the HIGHWIRE QUAD in place of the old analogue camera, and a regular HIREWIRE at the other
end of the cable, and the connection will be established automatically with no configuration required.
