A Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is a fully automated device for recording CCTV images. ICU specialise in custom built DVR’s which can easily integrate with your existing security system. 

Our IP/Megapixel cameras provide a vastly superior alternative to conventional analogue CCTV cameras.

IP cameras allow images to be viewed over a network (including the internet). Cameras can be connected to PCs, and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) locally to view and record cameras on a LAN.  Alternatively camera footage can be viewed and recorded remotely at multiple locations using a wide range of network configurations including the internet.

Switching from analogue to IP is simple as we also provide Ethernet over Video Cable devices which enables IP Network cameras to communicate over existing co-axial video cables. The device (Highwire) turns any existing analogue video cable (coax) into a high-speed Ethernet connection.  This allows multiple networked IP cameras to replace a single analogue CCTV camera, without installation of any new cabling.
